PERSONAL LEADERSHIP SERIES: CHARACTER EVALUATION TEST (CET)

By default, we stand in a stance where our character can never be defined in its right perspective. We all claim to have our integrity unmasked without being pushed, perplexed until the true nature unfold. You can never have integrity until you’ve passed a life test. Character test is more of an experience than a fact. The currency that draws people to our attention is distinguishing factor of our character.

WHERE WE STAND IN TIMES OF ADVERSITY DETERMINE THE GREATEST TEST OF OUR CHARACTER – it’s where we stand in that season of life. Our standpoint in the season of success is much compared to season of adversity,
but this ought to balance the situation ‘cause where we stand in times of success and adversity should equate the equation with only the state of situation changing and not our character changing. It is in the state of success we tend to know the stuff you’re made of and true nature of our character, because that is the right position where test of character will be brought to question.
Now it will be that of integrity or despair that the character test will determine. At times, we could vividly conclude that we don’t know our individual self until we become successful or attain greater height of influence before it could be said of us that our character is down-to-earth.

Character remains who you are in times of any situational stance in life and not what people says you are, as this depict reputation. Your very own life sincere to you which is deep in you that no one can determine until you exhibit its physical manifestation defines the right state of your CHARACTER. Reputation holds as what people say about you – people (others) perception of you which might not always be perfect state of your character.

Here’s the point: your character is your real YOU (Person) which can’t be faked or mismatch with what doesn’t lies within you. In essence, character may reflect your purpose or better still your purpose depicts your character.

I conclude with this advice that never should we allow persuasions, pressures or anxiety from without make you disobey nor go contrary to voice of your conscience (inner man). Maintain it in such fierce circumstances regardless of people’s opinion. OBEY YOUR CONSCIENCE ‘CAUSE IT DETERMINES YOUR INTEGRITY.
