2015 ELECTIONS: A SANITIZED POLITICAL CLASS (Stream 2)

Sequel to the 1st series earlier published HEREthis is the concluding part of my thought line on the above series. Let me reiterate here that nothing good will come out of this 2015 election because already most of the aspirants are confused, they know not how the Nigeria problem will be solved. Not a curse! Nigeria problem has passed the height of “I will provide power supply, good roads, railways system, food et al all theses political class do tell us”. That is not our problem; our problem still lies in charting a course, vision, core value for our nation Nigeria with which posterity can run with.

Well if you think vision 20-20 is part of our vision, I openly submit to you that it does not resemble or have a resemblance of our core values (what we have so special and unique to us) ‘cause it is a borrowed culture after the order of U.N Millenium Development Goals (MDGs). If the ‘labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain’ then we need draw a line where each other meet themselves in this country and boldly say this is our Nigeria dream – that will define our IDENTITY as a nation. Just come to think of it, as business brands do you think you can survive the line without a vision or plan?

The deciding moment of our life as a country is not who wins the 2015 general elections but it is about how resolute we can drive forward in right direction the wheel of the nation called NIGERIA. There is no better way to put it than how Samuel Adeyemi (a 21st Century Leadership Expert and Clergyman) put it in his word:

“Don’t get worked up over who wins the election but think more about how we will turn back to deal with the real issues because until we deal with issue of vision we will not resolve the issue of unity in the country.” (Culled from his homily on 2015 election and prayer for Nigeria)

So profound statement to his credit! This make me make a recourse into one of my thought line concerning Nigeria in a series tagged Social Re-Engineering Project (S.R.P) I did right on this blog sometimes October 2013 (NB: You can check post tread for October, 2013 on this blog).  We can't fight for the cause we don't know and what you don't know will be what will hurt you. If we must move forward the Nigeria Dream, there must be clear cut defined vision we are pursuing as a nation. Until this is in place we have no race at our feet to run. The individuals, society must unite as one entity and engage our leaders demanding from them the vision of the Nigeria Dream in a constructive manner.

Every of our politician manifesto and mantra must carry slice of the Nigeria Dream. Our personal interest must also carry slice of it, enough of me-me selfish syndrome we've carried over the years. LET’S DROP THEM DOWN AND CHART FORWARD THE NIGERIA OF OUR DREAM. TOGETHER WE SHALL ALL BUILD OUR NATION AS VIRILE NATION THE WORLD WOULD DESIRE TO BEHOLD.
